The small size cannula is for petite noses or noses that have small openings or thin elongated openings. Also this size can be used by older children. This is a common size for women with smaller noses or normal noses with thin (width) and elongated nostrils. Or to compare to the end of a pencil. If you would like to measure the width across (not back to front) the measurement is 7mm or a 1/4 inch.
